Today's good news story comes from Hendersonville, Tennessee.
4-year-old Henley Castilon has collected more than 1,000 stuffed animals for children affected by Hurricane Helene in East Tennessee and Western North Carolina.

Henley, who finds comfort in her own stuffed animals, wanted to share that same comfort with those who lost so much in the disaster.
Henley’s father, Alex Castilon, shared how his daughter’s stuffed animals provide her with peace during difficult days.
"That’s what always calms her down,” Alex explained to WSMV. “When she’s having a challenging day, her stuffed animals are what keep her going. She said all her friends out there had lost their stuffies, and she wanted to help get them some more.”
Henley began by donating around 30 of her own toys to children impacted by the storm. Her efforts quickly inspired neighbors, friends, and even local businesses to join in. Soon, a Hendersonville moms' Facebook group caught wind of Henley’s project, and the donations came pouring in from near and far. Some donors even traveled long distances to drop off stuffed animals at designated collection points, including a local veterinary clinic.
Jennifer Castilon, Henley’s mom, expressed how proud she is of her daughter’s big heart.
"Henley was diagnosed with autism a couple of years ago," Jennifer told WKRN. "A few years back, she struggled to communicate. Now, seeing her lead this effort—it’s nothing short of joyful."
